Rate this Product This is a super pool and a fantastic price - it is about £129 elsewhere (although I have even seen it for £150) Had to wait for it to be in stock and then manage order/delivery dates to suit us but the people on the other end of the phone were just brilliant and it all worked fine. Set up is easy - managed it myself but is ideally a 2 person job as this pool is bigger than it looks. Very stable; quality build; good,clear instructions - DO watch the DVD. Working fine in the average garden with an "average" slope and is plenty big enough for us. The pump/filter is small but seems to be effective. Only pumps 330 ltrs/hr & the pool holds about 4600+ltrs so need to run it quite a long time to ensure full pool filtration. Might look at a bigger pump in future. Recommend a groundsheet - trim to fit the filled pool as excess is a slip risk.
Groundsheet is also good for moving the UNFILLED pool if you've not quite got it positioned right. Definitely need a cover - at least a debris cover. And chemicals - was a bit daunted by that at first but it seems to be working without too much effort. Oh and get a skim net and teach the kids to use it! A word about pool vacuums- very useful indeed. However, the ones operated by the hosepipe can mess up the chemical balance and not all the in-line ones sold in the UK fit Bestway pools. The height of the set-up pool is just below hip for an average height adult (water level is lower) so some people might need a ladder. And do keep the box - useful for winter storage - this pool is built to last.(Posted on 12/06/2010)
